We are thrilled to announce that I Am a Muse will be typeset by Steve Pottinger at Ignite Books and printed by Bell and Bain Ltd in Glasgow. 

The manuscript is being checked a last time this week and will be on its way by the end of the week. 

The search is over... We have found a printer!

Carya Gish blogs regularly about culture, books, music, art, etc. on her website, and therefore this blog will only carry news about Arcane publishing and links to other websites, etc. if appropriate. Nothing fancy here, just some short publishing news... We will have some announcements to make in the forthcoming weeks, so watch this space!

We listened attentively to Steve and Joolz of Ignite Books as they told us about how they set up their small independent publishing press, and we heard some wonderful poems.  

Also, it was announced that Metal Culture's Literary Festival of the Sea, Shorelines, was going ahead and will take place on November 8-10th 2013. 
This should be the first literary festival attended by Arcane Publishing, as Carya Gish was one of the unpublished writers chosen to participate in Metal's week long Creative lab: on writing fiction back in October 2012. We hope to have copies of I Am a Muse on sale at the festival. 

Coming up: a few amendments to the website - such as adding the Arcane Publishing logo to the webpages, an update about the release date for I Am a Muse, etc.
