 We are absolutely thrilled to have acquired 11 gorgeous RSC programmes from the 60s! Many well-known names in there as well as theatre tickets, press clippings, etc. More on this later this week.
In other news, finally, from Thursday onwards, we will be able to spend close to 100% of our time to the development of Arcane Publishing. Loads of things in the pipeline, including Miss Gish going back to The Right Place, her third novel, which has been cruelly neglected for the past two months. The new target pub date for The Right Place is January or February 2023, and we will do everything we can to stick to this crucial date.  Last year, we had a string of amazing events booked throughout the Spring/Summer season... North and South Somerset, Bristol, New Forest... And all were cancelled... The nothing for months... We attended the first Giant Shepton Flea recently (you can read all about it HERE.) We will be returning there on 18th July if everything goes to plan... But one exciting new event is our return to the brilliant Bridport Vintage Market in the St Michael's Art and Vintage Quarter! This has always been a really lovely event with a brilliant atmosphere and loads of doggies! As usual, I will be occupying a small corner of Matt ArtPix's stall (we will eventually have our own stall at events, probably towarsd the end of the year or next year). We have selected a small amount of stock for this event, and we hope it will generate a reasonable amount of interest!  Three rare American magazines from the 1930s  Fashion, music, footie and cinema...  A nice mixture of smaller books catering to a range of interests...
 Yesterday, the ArtPix/Arcane team crossed the border to Devon and visited a castle and a fantastic Book Market organised by Exeter City of Literature! It might take a while for us to start posting content as we are not used to doing everything on a phone and would much prefer to be able to upload our content from our computer instead... Please bear with us, hopefully we'll have some lovely photos of books on there very soon! We might even have a go at posting live from our next event next week if it is all confirmed... More soon! |
