12/16/2022 WINTER INTERMISSION! SEE YOU IN 2023! WINTER INTERMISSION!
Arcane will be hibernating early until 2023. We thought we'd be able to post about the progress of our future plans and winter walks in the beautiful Dorset countryside but Covid's reared its ugly head (after 3 years of managing to avoid it!) and has thrown our plans into disarray... Not a great end of the year with a lot of work and Covid. See you in 2023 and hopefully there will be more upbeat news about manuscripts, events and the online shop!  The Arcane stall at the Christmas Library Bazaar! We had a great time yesterday at The Christmas Library Bazaar at Exeter Library organised by Libraries Unlimited and Markets In Exeter. It was brilliant to trade at this state-of-the-art book-loving place, the perfect environment for my books! Thank you to everyone who browsed and bought books! Thank you to Matt ArtPix for his invaluable help and support on a rare non-trading weekend for him (although we had some prints of his art on display as a little extra!). Sadly no new events for Arcane until Spring 2023 but we hope to be able to start work on the new Arcane online bookshop early in 2023 and have something up and running in the spring. Miss Gish will also carry on working on the first draft of her third novel The Right Place, due to be published in 2024. For up-to-date news, follow our instagram page @arcanepub as we are not very active on here anymore! Follow Matt ArtPix for news about the brilliant events he attends with his wonderful and colourful stock of vintage, antique, upcycled and handmade items, his collage art and more! Some of our books sometimes make it to his stall... (I had some pictures of the library itself but Weebly refuses to upload the correct ones...)   My novels were on display of course... The props were very popular! :-)  The library had an amazing display of books about stars of the classic era(s) of cinema... I wanted to bring them all back home! |
