Countdown to reopening... Our unit at The Customs House, West Bay

Finally!
Today, we, the ArtPix/Arcane team made our merry way to The Customs House in West Bay, Dorset, where we have our unit!
It was brilliant to be there again as we haven't set foot in our little space since late December...
The place was a hive of activity as traders and the managers prepare the building for the Grand Reopening on Monday 12th April!
Thankfully, the winter has been kind to our stock and we found everything still in place and in tip top condition just as we had left them back in 2020!
We spent three hours in there, changing our stock, putting some new shelves in (and they look very nice indeed, if I may say so...)

Our very colourful unit is now replenished, refreshed and ready to welcome customers next week!
Fingers crossed for a good summer and no more lockdowns.
One can only hope.

Most of the space is taken up by Matt ArtPix's wonderful stock of vintage items, art and retro football products (including his own designs on cards, frames and fridge magnets as well as original pictures, books and match day programme).
Arcane Publishing has a few paperbacks and a selection of pre-loved books; our two published novels have been removed from the unit and will only be available to buy at events and online. The Arcane stock will stay in the unit for the next couple of months and it is possible that it will then be available exclusively online and at events in the future - this will depend on sales in the unit - but this is exclusively a tourist destination and books are a hard sale...
