On Saturday, the ArtPix/Arcane team traded at The Langport Vintage Market. Arcane was supposed to have one small corner of a table on Matt ArtPix's stand, but in the end, we were incredibly lucky and were given even more space as we were the only traders in The Undercroft! So Arcane was able to spread out a bit... 
We had chosen to book an undercover space (what with the unstable British summer weather) and we were soooo wise to do so! We had quite virulent rain showers regularly throughout the day, but we smugly stayed all dry and cosy...
The Undercroft, like many of the buildings around this very interesting town, is full of history. It is part of the town hall and used to be where the market was held. This is also where the wonderful Kim Woods Vintage shop is located, and I would highly recommend it: it is beautifully curated and is full to the brim with treasures and unusual antiques...

Let's have a sneak peek at our stall!  First, here's the Arcane section! 

We had brought a selection of books from our carefully hand-picked pre-loved and vintage books...

And we had a few copies of Miss Gish's two novels, of course! 

We also had a few boxes of our stock of 50p vintage books! 

Our display was very colourful, as per usual! 

We will be adding a few items to our Facebook marketplace list in the next few days, so please do go and have a look!

A quick reminder that the Arcane online bookshop will launch in 2022... and we are still adding new books to the Arcane shelves in Matt ArtPix's unit at The Customs House in West Bay, Dorset!
