New stock in!

During our stay in Devon, we have found some great additions to our stock of second-hand books! This is a rather glamorous selection... 

There are some great novels by well-known writers in the pile, but I have to admit that I have picked them up  partly because of the wonderful vintage images on their covers. They will fit very well on our stand at the forthcoming vintage and antiques fairs we will be attending (check out the EVENTS PAGE  for dates.)

Here's a wonderful find: a special edition of Jerome K. Jerome's Three Men in a Boat; in fact, it is the centenary edition published in 1989 by Alan Sutton Publishing in collaboration with the Bristol publishers of the first ever edition, J.W. Arrowsmith. 
It features wonderful B&W illustrations and some evocative pictures of the journey as it was at the time the author wrote the book!
