A truly remarkable book for all lovers of the French capital. This shows a Paris which has now disappeared...
Have you ever wondered what Paris used to look like before Haussman's renovation of Paris (1853-1970) from which emerged the Paris we know today? This is a stunning collection of photographs of the streets earmarked for demolition and as such eerily devoid of the presence of human beings.
There is also a fantastic section on the famously macabre "Catacombes de Paris" with pictures taken by Felix Nadar.
FOR SALE £25 (This includes P&P within UK, sent by Royal Mail second class).
