Update on The Customs House unit and future plans...

The 2020 season is fast approaching (we are in a rural coastal area, don't you know!) and Matt ArtPix and I are thinking about reshuffling our unit at The Customs House in West Bay to make it more appealing to our customers, although I have to admit that trying to sell books to holidaymakers about is very, very hard. No surprise here! We had thought about getting a double unit there, but the figures don't add up, and we've decided to keep our unit for the time being. 

Matt ArtPix will extend his "Retro Football" section as this is what sells the most there, together with his lovely home wares and vintage items... 
Arcane will keep a small section with second-hand books and a few copies of I Am a Muse and The Book of Thoth, but we will keep our stock to a minimum. 

We are planning on opening a "proper" online bookshop before the end of the year, and the partnership Matt ArtPix/Arcane Publishing is hard at work preparing for the next few months, with some exciting events coming up (more details soon) - and we haven't given up our goal of opening a brick and mortar venue in the forthcoming years - we have to see how the country's economic future pans out. We have so much to learn! 

We still hope to be able to publish our third book before the end of 2021... 

I am selling some of my least treasured paperbacks to make some space for new books on my shelves at home. These have been selling really well over the summer. Hopefully I can get rid of the lot! 75p each...

I have sold many Sherlock Holmes books in the unit... These are the last ones of the lot! One or two are rather rare... £5 each!
